Meta Navigation

Meta navigation is also known as secondary navigation. This navigation appears at the top of the screen with a contact number and links to some external sites or internal pages. This meta navigation can be created in Umbraco CMS as pages hidden from main navigation. When creation the pages links to external sites can be assigned and if the link is not available then hashtag (#) can be assigned and later it can be replaced with actual URL.

Step 1: Update site info with Contact Phone number

Step 2: Enable Show Meta Navigation and Show Phone Number in Header Tab

Step 3: Create Meta Navigation pages

Step 4: Configure Page by Hide from Main Navigation and show on Secondary Navigation

If you don’t have links to external site or pages add # for now.
